Joondalup Private Hospital launches online patient admissions

Patients who choose to have their treatment at Joondalup Private Hospital – Perth's newest private hospital - can now book their admission conveniently online.
The hospital's user-friendly new online patient booking system is available 24 hours a day and minimises the paperwork that needs to be completed before receiving hospital treatment. Patient information is encrypted and secured by 128-bit SSL encryption technology.

Joondalup Private Hospital Chief Executive Officer Kempton Cowan said the system has been developed in response to feedback from patients.

"Few people enjoy completing forms. Our patients asked for an easier pre-admission service and in response we have delivered a new online system that is not only easy to use, it is also convenient and saves time. You can now book your treatment and provide most of the information needed via our website in under 30 minutes. While we will still need your signature on some documents when you arrive, this new process will ensure your admission goes as smoothly as possible."

The new online pre-admission service is available at www.joondalupprivatehospital.com.au. Patients are required to submit a hardcopy of their doctor's referral form and provide written consent to treatment.

Joondalup Private Hospital opened in March 2013. The hospital has 145-beds across five levels offering maternity, acute aged care and rehabilitation and a range of medical and surgical services.
