The JHC Paediatric Rapid Clinic has been established and is now successfully following up children recently seen in the emergency department. This important initiative aims to improve patient safety, help with the flow of patients through ED and also alleviates some of the pressure on GPs needing to accommodate these follow ups.
At this early stage, it is not available for external referrals as it is at capacity with ED referrals. With the ever busy winter period this is a timely addition to the options JHC has available for emergency patients.
