The birth of a baby is one of the truly special moments in your life. That's why at Joondalup Private Hospital we go out of our way to make this a special time for you and your baby.
In March 2013 we moved into the new Joondalup Private Hospital, located on-site at Joondalup Health Campus. Expectant mothers now have the choice of a new 30-bed maternity facility close to home with easy access to obstetricians located on-site. Our rooms are modern and designed with the comfort of you and your baby in mind.
At this time you need to feel confident you're in good hands. The vast training and experience of our doctors and midwives is supported by well equipped facilities including our 24-hour on-site laboratory service, adult intensive care facilities and 24-hour anaesthetic, medical and surgical cover in the case of an emergency.
We offer a convenient online admission process and can facilitate tours of the private ward and birth suite prior to your delivery. Private Maternity Tours are conducted every Sunday from 2.30pm – 3pm. Bookings can be made through our ward clerk Monday to Friday between 8am – 8pm on 9400 9200.

Film Equipment in Birth Suite and the Operating Theatre
Ramsay Health Care recognises that unique and special moments arise in hospital that patients, families and friends may wish to capture on film. At Joondalup Private Hospital, we need to ensure that patient safety, clinical teamwork, the privacy of other patients, staff members and medical personnel are not compromised. Devices that record both film and sound are not allowed in the operating suite, birth suites or special care nursery.
Single shot devices that do not record sound are permissible by the agreement of the care team members present at the time.
Film and sound may be recorded in the privacy of a patient’s own room, provided the privacy of other patients and staff members is not compromised.
