For Junior Doctors

Joondalup Private Hospital is a standalone private hospital owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care (RHC), the largest private hospital operator in Australia. It is co-located with Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) which treats public patients under a long standing public-private partnership agreement with the Western Australian Government.

As the major hospital for Perth’s northern corridor – one of the fastest growing regions of Australia – JHC is an exciting place to work. JHC offers specialist services for the entire family from pregnancy and birth through to old age.

Joondalup Health Campus employs junior doctors throughout the hospital, from interns to senior registrars. Registered Medical Officers (RMOs) can apply for placement via the annual Centralised Resident Medical Officer application process coordinated by the Postgraduate Medical Council of Western Australia.

JHC offers junior doctors high quality teaching in a friendly, fast-paced general hospital environment with terms available in a range of medical, surgical and maternity specialty areas.

Visit the For Junior Doctors web page at Joondalup Health Campus for more information about opportunities and how to apply. Please contact the Medical Administration team if you have any questions about terms at JHC on medicaladmin.jhc@ramsayhealth.com.au.

Employment opportunities for junior doctors arise on occasion outside of the centralised recruitment process, particularly in the Emergency Department at Joondalup Health Campus. You can apply directly to our ED department if you are interested in working as a RMO or registrar on a casual, part time or full time basis.

Please contact Tamara Deering by emailing deeringt@ramsayhealth.com.au. Please put ED RMO Job 2019 in the email subject line.
