Parking
We recommend JHC patients and visitors plan your visit ahead of time, review the current hospital parking map and information to make your visit go as smoothly as possible.
The P12 car park is the closest parking for patients and visitors to the private hospital. The P1 multi-storey public car park at Joondalup Health Campus offers more than 700 car parking bays and is the most convenient parking for patients and visitors to access most other services at the hospital. Both of these car parks offer Acrod parking and can be accessed from Shenton Avenue. Parking fees apply.
Please note: P1 uses a vehicle number plate recognition system and has a height limit of 2.2m. Ground level car parks P12 and P4 are best suited for high vehicles. There is no parking for trailers, caravans and RVs anywhere on site at Joondalup Health Campus.
Seven days of free parking is included for private maternity patients who are admitted for the birth of their baby. (P12 Carpark)
There are two designated private birth suite parking bays in car park P12 A, which is the closest car park to the main entrance of Joondalup Private Hospital. These short term parking bays are outlined in pink paint and are specifically for patients to attend the birth suite.
Short term parking
P1A is a 21-bay, 1-hour maximum stay ticketed car park intended for use by those collecting a patient from the public hospital discharge lounge, or people accessing the patient equipment store or pharmacy. There is no Acrod parking in P1A.
30-minute ticketed parking (1-hour for Acrod permit holders) is available in P12A.
For patients or visitors with a disability
Car parks with dedicated bays for drivers with Acrod permits are:
- P1 car park – 18 paid parking bays
- P4 car park – Five ‘pay and display’ ticket parking bays. Maximum five hour stay.
- P12A car park– Four ‘pay and display’ ticket parking bays. Maximum one hour stay.
Heading to the Emergency Department?
There are six 15-minute car parking bays located outside the Emergency Department (ED) intended for drop off and pick up of ED patients only.
Parking fees
Parking fees are $3.00 per hour or part thereof, and capped at $15.00 per day. Discounts apply for Acrod permit holders. A weekly permit for $50.00 is also available for long-stay visitors. Please ask our friendly reception staff for more information.
